Evelyn Jean (Kerley) Moler

Evelyn Jean Moler of Pikeville passed away Thursday morning, April 4, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family at the age of 82. 

Ms. Moler was born in Kansas to the late Thomas Frank and Ruby E. Thompson Kerley on March 17, 1942. She was veteran of the United States Army. She graduated from Boot Camp at Fort McClellan in 1963 and then married the love of her life the late, Donald Leroy Moler in 1965.

She leaves to cherish her memories her children, Mary and Darryl Hickman of Mississippi, Donna Moler and fiancé, Russ Denning of Pikeville;  her grandchildren, Alissa and Logan Main of Mississippi, Victor and Amanda Hickman of Mississippi and Justin Hickman of Mississippi, Kevin and Sharon Martens of Kinston, Andrew Martens of Pikeville, Evelyn Edwards of Pikeville, Hubert Edwards of Pikeville and Tristen Moler also of Pikeville; her eight great-grandchildren; her brother, Bill Kerley of Idaho and her nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Leroy Moler and her brother, Ronnie Kerley.

A service to celebrate her life will be held Monday, April 8, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro with military honors. The family will greet friends following the service.
