Evelyn Radford Johnson

Evelyn Radford Johnson, 70, of Goldsboro went to be with her Lord and Savior Friday, December 17, 2021 at Wayne UNC Health Care in Goldsboro.

A celebration of her life will be held Monday, December 20, 2021 at 6 p.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.  The family will receive friends following the service.

Mrs. Johnson was born in Greene County on April 22, 1951 to the late Sidney and Lillian Smith Radford.  She was a faithful member of The Word Church.

She is survived by two sons, Wayne Johnson of Grantham and Michael Johnson and wife, Ashley of Grantham; one daughter, Danna Johnson Price and husband, Richard of Grantham; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and a special family member/friend, Alice James Jones.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her husband, the love of her life, Perry Lee Johnson; her daughter, Selina Mangum; one grandson, Jamie Lee Johnson; her daughter-in-law, Judy Johnson and four brothers, Mickey Radford, Keith Radford, Randy Radford and John Radford.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
