Ethel Boyette Coor, 94, of Goldsboro went to be with her heavenly father Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
At her request, a private family committal will be held at Wayne Memorial Park.
Mrs. Coor was born in Lenoir County on January 14, 1929 to the late J.R. and Hepsie Eason Boyette. She was a member of United In Christ Church and attended while her health permitted.
She leaves to cherish her memories two sons, Tony Coor and wife, Ann of Fuquay-Varina and Thomas Coor and wife, Tracy of Mt. Olive; son-in-law, Jerry Kornegay (Mary) of Sneads Ferry; five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ottiwell S. Coor Jr.; daughter, Patricia Coor Kornegay and brother, Earl Smith.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to United In Christ Church, 1314 Patetown Road, Goldsboro, NC 27530.
The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
