Emmeline Glass Obituary

Emmeline Lois Glass, 89, of Goldsboro departed this earthly life Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at AuthoraCare Collective Hospice Home in Burlington, North Carolina.

Mrs. Glass was born in Virginia on November 28, 1934 to the late Granville Wheeler Denson and Lillie Speak Denson.

She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Everette Glass; two sons, Terry L. Glass and wife, Andrea of Graham, NC and Everette H. Glass II and wife, Karina of South Carolina; one daughter, Lois A. Beardsley and husband, Ralph of Burlington, North Carolina; one brother, Wheeler J. Denson of Virginia; one sister, Ernestine A. Powers of Pfafftown, North Carolina; ten grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Darrell W. Glass; two brothers, Roy L. Denson and M.C. Denson and four sisters, Albon V. Cowden, Pauline Daugherty, Jewell Matlock and Maxie Frazier.

A memorial service will be held at Russell Chapel Methodist Church in Jonesville, Virginia with a date to be announced.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
