Elena Castillo Cobb, 75, of Goldsboro passed away Thursday, September 14, 2023 at Willow Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Goldsboro.

A memorial service will be held Monday, October 2, 2023 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church in Goldsboro.

Mrs. Cobb was born in Manila, Philippines on April 8, 1948 to the late Baltazar and Rita Josef Castillo. She was a member of St. Mary Roman Catholic Church in Goldsboro.

She leaves to cherish her memories her loving husband, James W. Cobb; two sons, Jeremy Cobb of Greensboro and Olinger B.C. Cobb of Goldsboro; one daughter, Melanie Smiley of Missouri;  several siblings, nieces, nephews and many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends. She will be missed by all who knew her.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
