Eduardo Aguilar Lopez, 52, of LaGrange passed away Friday, July 24, 2026 at UNC Health Wayne in Goldsboro.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, July 29, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church in Goldsboro. The family will receive friends at the home on Tuesday evening, July 28, 2026.

Eduardo was born in Mexico on April 12, 1974. He attended St. Mary's Catholic Church in Goldsboro and was a dedicated employee with Kinston Steel.

He is survived by his wife, Celia Villagran Rubio; his mother, Francisca Lopez Garcia; his sons, Edgar Villagran-Aguilar, Eduardo Villagran-Rubio; his daughter, Samantha Villagran-Aguilar; his brothers, Jose Aguilar Lopez and Enrique Aguilar Lopez and his sisters, Maria, Elsa, Gabriella, Asuncion, Yunuen and Monse Aguilar Lopez.

Eduardo was preceded in death by his father, Francisco Aguilar Hernandez.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
