Don Allen Williams

Don Allen Williams, 74, of Pikeville passed away Friday, August 18, 2023 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.

A memorial service will be held Monday, August 28, 2023 at 6 p.m. at Community Baptist Church, 351 Antioch Road in Goldsboro with Reverend Michael L. Lewis officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.

Mr. Williams was born in Wayne County on November 6, 1948 to the late James A. Williams and Ruth Willoughby Williams.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Helen Williams; one son, Don S. Williams and wife, Gail of Pikeville; one daughter, Marty Lee; two grandchildren, Shayla Farrell and Logan Parrish; three great-grandchildren, Brody, Gavin and Scarlett; two brothers, Marion Williams and wife, Maryann of Princeton and Gerald Williams and wife, Tracy of Pikeville; one sister, Annette Carroway of Charlotte; half-sister, Amanda Newcomb of Pikeville; brother-in-law, Steven Godwin and wife, Kaye; three sisters-in-law, Janet Crouse, Linda Turner and Mary Carrier and husband, Dave and a host of other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Helen Arcena Conner; two brothers, Kenneth and James Jr.; half-brother, Randy and half-sister, Marsha.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
