Dewitt Coston

Dewitt Coston, 82, of Goldsboro passed away Friday, September 11, 2020 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 15, 2020 from 6 until 7:30 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.  Due to Covid-19, a private family graveside service with full military honors will be held at Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Goldsboro.

Mr. Coston was born in Duplin County on November 16, 1937.  He honorably retired from the United States Air Force after 23 years of service.   

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Edna Young Coston; three daughters, Tracy Little (Clarke Bryant) of Texas, Devina Skipwith of Elon, NC and Cynthia Snead of Goldsboro; two step-daughters; Felecia Tucker (Bobby), Pamela Young, four step-sons; Michael Lane, Charles Lane (Barbra), Elgin Lane, Darren Young, three brothers John Thomas Coston, Jerry Thomas Williams, Jesse Williams Jr.; one sister Mary Delores Williams (Louallen); five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
