Dennis Deans Obituary
(Retired) MSgt Dennis Ray Deans (Air Force), 67, of Goldsboro passed away Monday, March 2, 2020 at Wayne UNC Health Care in Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends Friday, March 06, 2020 from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory. A graveside service will follow at Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Goldsboro with full military honors.
Mr. Deans was born in Wilson County, NC on July 9, 1952 to the late Donald and Ellen Louise Lamm Deans.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly Deans; one son, Michael Deans and wife, Lisa of Monroe; one daughter, Crystal Laskaris and husband, Trevor of Pikeville; one brother, Danny Deans and wife, Jeanette of Lucama; one sister, Linda Mitchell (Tony Beasley) of Lucama and four grandchildren, Addyson Grace Deans of Greenville, Lily Mae Deans and A.J. Mucerino of Monroe and Piper Laskaris of Pikeville.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Deans was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Wayne Deans.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
