John Daniel "Danny" Spivey, 60, of Kenly passed away Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at his home.
A celebration of life will held Monday, June 21, 2021 at 6 p.m. at Haven of Hope (Fremont Church of God) with visitation prior to the service beginning at 5 p.m.
He was born in Wilson County on August 26, 1960 to the late Anderson C. and Bonnie McDaris Spivey. He was a member of Haven of Hope (Fremont Church of God).
Mr. Spivey is survived by his wife, Sharon Spivey; one son, Jeremy Daniel Spivey and wife, Robin Mitchell of Kenly; one daughter, Jessica Ann Spivey and husband, Donny Cooper of Kenly; two brothers, Donald Spivey and wife, Phyllis of Stantonsburg and George Spivey and wife, Sandra of Greensboro and six grandchildren, Madyson, Ayden, Brianna, Jackson, Savannah and McKinsley.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Joe Spivey and two sisters, Cherrie Barbee and Hope Spivey.
The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
