Courtney Lynn (Williams) Paulus

Courtney Lynn Williams Paulus, 22, of Colorado, formerly of Pikeville passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2023.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, May 2, 2023 from 4 until 6 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.  

Courtney was born in Wayne County on July 4, 2000.  She was a Charles B. Aycock graduate Class of 2018.  Courtney enjoyed fishing and attended Ray of Hope Church.  She loved spending time with her family and especially her nieces and nephew.  She will be greatly missed by all that loved her.

She is survived by her husband, Eric Paulus of Colorado; her parents, Thomas Earl Braswell and Elizabeth Braswell of Pikeville; her father and mother-in-law, Mark and Beki Paulus of Colorado Springs, Colorado; five brothers, Anthony Glisson, Joseph Braswell, Martin Herrera, Thomas Jacob Braswell and fiancée, Alycia and Christopher Scott Sharp all of Goldsboro; two sisters, Elizabeth Parchman and Brittney Williams both of Goldsboro and her brother-in-law, Jason Paulus of Colorado.  Courtney is also survived by her paternal grandfather, William Thomas Braswell and wife, Virginia of Nahunta; her paternal grandmother, Jan Braswell of Goldsboro; her maternal grandfather, William Glisson of Snow Hill; her maternal grandmother, Bonnie Glisson of Goldsboro; several aunt and uncles; four nieces, with one on-the-way and one nephew.

Courtney was preceded in death by one nephew, Bo Parchman.
