Clifton Taylor Murphy, 77, Goldsboro departed this walk of life Thursday morning, July 4, 2024 at Helping Hands Assisted Living in Goldsboro.
Mr. Murphy was born in Durham, North Carolina on July 8, 1946 to the late Bryan Clinton Murphy and Ressie Bell Taylor Murphy. He was a veteran of the United States Navy.
Surviving are his wife, Phyllis Milford of Goldsboro; one son, Christopher Murphy and wife, Melanie; two daughters, Kelly Watson and husband, Colin and Donna Whitehurst and husband, Cliff; one brother, Duane Parrott and wife, Pam; five grandchildren, Kimberly, Eric, Nick, Ashley and Madison and his two great-grandchildren, Emma and Stella.
No formal service will be held.
The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
