Christine (Holland) Pittman

Christine Holland Pittman, 85, of Fremont went to be with her Lord and Savior Friday, April 8, 2022 at home surrounded by her loving family.

A graveside service will  be held Sunday, April 10, 2022 at 3 p.m. at Pittman Family Cemetery on Pinkney Church Road.  The family will receive friends following the service.

Mrs. Pittman was born in Wayne County on April 4, 1937 to the late Joseph Warren and Sallie Jones Holland.  She was employed with Wayne Memorial Hospital Gift Shop and Volunteer Services.  Mrs. Pittman was a member of Pinkney Missionary Baptist Church and attended while her health permitted.

She is survived by one son, James Edward Pittman and wife, Brenda of Fremont; three daughters, Kathie Christine Fields and husband, Randy of Pikeville, Loretta Lynn Crumpler and husband, Harold of Pikeville and Sharon Ann Rose of Fremont; one sister, Glenda Davis and husband, Dearl of Goldsboro; ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Pittman was preceded in death by her husband, J.T. Pittman; her brother, J.R. Holland and one sister, Jean Lancaster.

Although flowers are welcome, memorial contributions may be directed to Community Home Care & Hospice in memory of our mother.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
