Brian Keith Smith, 59, of Pikeville passed away Friday morning, March 8, 2024 at Mount Olive Center.

No formal service will be held.

Brian was born in Georgia on July 27, 1964 to the late Leonard and Ila Smith.

Brian is survived by his wife, April L. Smith; one brother, Gregory L. Smith and wife, Linda; his father-in-law, Avery Planty and wife, Sandi; brothers-in-law, Avery E. Planty and Jeffrey Planty and wife, Shirley; sister-in-law, Eva Pittman; two nephews, Shawn Planty and James Pittman Jr.; two nieces, Brandy Smith and husband, Ronnie L. Smith II and Savannah L. Dorsey and husband, William; great-nephews, Chase Capps and Colton T. Smith; great-niece, Ila M. Murphy Smith and a host of other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jeffery A. Smith and two sisters, Linda D. Barrett and Alexis D. Smith.
