Beverly Ann (Kornegay) Pollock

Beverly Ann Kornegay Pollock, 76, of Pikeville passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at her home in Pikeville. 

The family will receive friends Friday, July 16, 2021 from 2 until 3 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro. A graveside service will follow the visitation at Pineview Cemetery in Seven Springs.

Mrs. Pollock was born in Wayne County, on July 20, 1944 to the late  William “Gump” Andrew and Lillie Mae Holloman Kornegay. She retired as a nurse from Wayne Memorial Hospital after many years of service.

She is survived by her husband, Roland Morris Pollock; one son, James Woodard of Michigan; one daughter, Christine Cribb and husband, Steve of Washington State; two brothers, Milton A. Kornegay and wife, Dianne of Goldsboro and Gary Tommy Kornegay and girlfriend, Angie Blake of Jacksonville, NC; six grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Margaret Kornegay of Goldsboro and her beloved cat, Muffin.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two brothers, William Brice Kornegay and Arthur Ray Kornegay and one sister, Linda Diane Kornegay.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
