Beverly Bowden Brown, 63, of Goldsboro departed this earthly life Christmas Day, December 25, 2023 at home surrounded by her loving family.

A celebration of her life will be held Friday, December 29, 2023 at 6 p.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro with military honors. The family will receive friends following the service. A private burial will be held at Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Goldsboro.

Mrs. Brown was born in Edgecombe County on May 18, 1960. She retired from the Federal Bureau of Prisons and was owner of ClientFirst Behavioral Health.

She leaves to cherish her memories her mother, Randy Bridgers of Tarboro; her husband, Kip Brown; two sons, Nicholas Bowden (Shelby Brown) of Goldsboro and Geordi Brown (Carol Reinier) of Goldsboro; one daughter, Abi Brown Sharp (Christopher) of Goldsboro; one brother, Jeff Bridgers (Sherry) of Tarboro and six grandchildren, Paisley, Kip, Kenzie, Garrett, Aubrey and Kennedy.

She is preceded in death by her father, Benjamin Bridgers and her brother, Tim Bridgers.
