Betty (Bass) Evans

Betty Bass Evans, 75, of Goldsboro passed away Monday, May 6, 2024 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.

Mrs. Evans was born in Wayne County on September 21, 1948 to the late Offie and Juanita Mason Bass.

Cherishing her memories are her loving husband, Johnny C. Evans Jr.; one daughter, Kelly Walker and husband, Jay of Rocky Mount; one brother, Ray Bass and wife, Phyllis of Belfast; one sister, Jenette “Jean” Aycock and husband, Bill of Goldsboro and her grandchildren, Taylor Walker and Jacob Walker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ronnie Gene Bass and her precious cocker spaniel, Kaycee.

At her request, no formal service will be held.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
