Bertie Jacobs Boney, 80, of Goldsboro passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at UNC Health Wayne in Goldsboro.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, August 3, 2023 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.  A private burial will be held for the family.  Visitation will be held prior to the funeral from 10 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Boney was born in Wayne County on July 29, 1942 to the late Harvey Jacobs Sr. and Bertie Manuel Jacobs.

She leaves to cherish her memories; her husband, Steve L. Boney; two sons, Stephen Boney of Goldsboro and Corey Boney of Washington, D.C.; two brothers, Harvey Jacobs Jr. and wife, Shirley of Goldsboro and Kennon Jacobs of Goldsboro.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Boney was preceded in death by two brothers, David Manuel Sr. and Charles Jacobs Sr.
