Bernard Peter Cybul

Bernard "Bernie" Peter Cybul, 99,  passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at home in Greenville.


A visitation will be held Monday, January 11, 2021 from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at Howell Funeral Home in Goldsboro. A graveside service will follow at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.


Mr. Cybul was born in Connecticut on May 29, 1921 to the late Matthew and Anna Blazevicz Cybul. He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Goldsboro. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army where he served his country during World War II.


He leaves to cherish his memories his son, David Cybul of Indiana; three daughters, Monica Edwards of Greenville, Marcia Cybul of Indiana and Krista Wanat and husband, Greg of Alabama; one grandson, Joshua David Edwards and wife, Kim and a host of other relatives and friends.


In addition to his parents, Mr. Cybul was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Cybul.


The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
