Baby Patience Colon was born on April 8, 2025 in Wayne County to Markalia McKinnin and Nasaia Colon.  She departed her life on April 14, 2025 at UNC Medical Center in Chapel Hill.

A private service will be held for the family in her memory.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories to her mother and father, Markalia McKinnin and Nasaia, both of Goldsboro, NC; her grandmothers, Tramenda Best of Goldsboro and Jennifer Wray of Virginia; her grandfathers, Marcus McKinnin, which preceded her in death, Xxavea Colon of Goldsboro and one step-father, James Thompson of Goldsboro; two great-grandmothers, Cathy Best and April Colon, both of Goldsboro; three uncles, Ta'Jir Hill of Greensboro, Kyshawn Bell and Jaivonte Colon, both of Goldsboro; one aunt, Layonna Colon of Goldsboro; six great-aunts, Krystal Best, Domanisha Jones, Naketta Jones, Britanny Rich, Richelle Butler and Consuela Colon; seven great-uncles, Rontrakgus Best, Prentice Best, Shihem Coleman, Wyatt Moore, Freddie Jones, Richard Butler, Antwain Colon; one special God mom, Teri Wellington and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
