Annie Ruth Artis, 82, of Goldsboro received her ultimate healing Wednesday morning, March 12, 2025 at her home surrounded by her family. 

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.  Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Goldsboro.  Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10 until 10:45 a.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Artis was born in Wayne County on July 27, 1942 to the late Charlie Holloman and Ruth B. Holloman  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Michael Artis and her siblings, Elbert Holloman and Helen Holloman Conner.

Cherishing her memories are her children, Ruth L. Young of Georgia, Robert Lee Artis Jr. of Goldsboro, Henrietta Hutchins (Morris Sr.) of Georgia, Robin Artis of Goldsboro and Amanda Block of Goldsboro; her brothers, Charles Holloman of New York and Bernard Holloman of Goldsboro; her sister, Rita Ann Holloman-Johnson of Goldsboro; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
