Ann Elizabeth Harper Hart, 89, of Snow Hill join the heavenly choir on Sunday morning, May 23, 2021 at home.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 25, 2021 from 6 until 7:30 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Snow Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Hart was born in Greene County on October 24, 1931 to the late Albert Lyman Harper and Lillie Mae Carraway Harper. She was a lifelong member of Fort Run PFWB Church and was the lead singer with the Hart Family Gospel Singers. She will be deeply missed.
She is survived by one son, James Delma Hart II of Snow Hill; four daughters, Karen Hart Wiggins of Snow Hill, Pamela Diane Hart of Kenansville, Connie Denise Hart of Snow Hill and Delma Ann Hart Newsome of Snow Hill; one brother, John Harold Harper (Arlene) of Snow Hill; one sister, Joan Carol Coffey of Leland; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Delma Hart; two brothers, C.H. Harper and Lyman Harper; five sisters, Rachel Outlaw, Minnie Mae Carraway Joyner, Helen Beamon, Linda Roberts and Nell Jean Harper and one grandson, Kevin Hart.
The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
