Alma Lee Rowe, 70, of Goldsboro departed this walk of life Sunday, May 14, 2023 at UNC Health Wayne in Goldsboro.

 

A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 2 p.m. at Golden Gate Cemetery in Pikeville. The family will receive friends following the service.

 

Mrs. Rowe was born in Wayne County on September 7, 1952 to the late Willie James Reid and Mattie Warren. She was past employed with Claridge State Nursery, AP Parts, a caregiver for the Peacocks and later retiring from Standard Products.

 

She leaves to cherish her memories two sons, Milton Lee Rowe of Goldsboro and Randy Omar Williams of Atlanta, Georgia; three daughters, Maria Rowe, Pamela Mitts and LaToya Rowe, all of Goldsboro; one brother, Christopher Livingston of Dudley; three sisters, Patricia Mitchell of Goldsboro, Diane Danzy of Virginia and Christine Livingston of Goldsboro; eight grandchildren, Cameron Rowe, Trevor Reid, Xavier Smith, Glanisha Williams, Tiffany Williams, Robert Mitts, Nykole Mitts, and Steve Mitts; and a host of great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends; and a special sister-in-law, Belinda Mitchell.

 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cornelius Rowe; her grandparents who raised her, Jessie and Ella Mae Battle and her nine siblings.
