Ursula Margarete-Anna (Fischer) Kesler

Ursula Margarete-Anna Kesler, 79, of Goldsboro passed away Thursday, October 24, 2019 at Eagle’s Pointe in Goldsboro.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, October 27, 2019 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.  The family will receive friends following the service.

Mrs. Kesler was born in Germany on February 02, 1940 to the late Walter and Margarete Pricelius Fischer. 

She is survived by one son, Barney Ray Kesler of Concord, NC and two daughters, Renee Pierce and husband, Jerry of Smithfield and Monica Johnson and husband, Perry of Pikeville; one brother, Wolfgang Fischer of Connecticut; one sister, Gisela Sorenson of Idaho; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and her special niece, Marion Fischer Fuller of Idaho.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Kesler was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Kenneth Kesler.

The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff at Eagle’s Pointe for their compassion and care given to our mom.  A very heartfelt thank you to her son in law, Perry Johnson for handling all of mom’s affairs.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America.
