Susan Cronquist Seaman

Goldsboro- Susan Cronquist Seaman, 70, went to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, June 02, 2018 at her home.

A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Rosewood First Baptist Church.  The family will receive friends following the service.

Sue was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania  March 29, 1948 to the late Thorsten and Dorothy Kushmore Cronquist.  She was a member of Rosewood First Baptist Church where she was a member of the choir, taught Sunday School and worked with the youth.  Sue was an avid Duke sports fan!

She was married to her loving a devoted husband of 50 years and one week, Ed Seaman; two sons, Scott Douglas Seaman of Florida and Edward F. Seaman III and wife, Marie of Germany; one daughter, JoAnn Smith and husband, David of Goldsboro; two brothers, Kenneth Cronquist and wife, Alyne of California and Scott Cronquist and wife, Lillian of Colorado; eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her son, Brian Edward Seaman and a brother, Richard Cronquist.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Rosewood First Baptist Church, 562 NC 581, Goldsboro, North Carolina 27530 and/or the ALS Association North Carolina Chapter, 4 North Blount Street #200, Raleigh, North Carolina 27601.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
