Silas Tony Jordan Jr.

Goldsboro- Silas Tony Jordan, Jr., 77, went to be with his Lord and Savior Sunday, July 29, 2018 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center surrounded by his loving family.

A memorial service for Mr. Jordan will be held Friday, August 03, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church in Goldsboro and the family will receive friends following this service. Inurnment will be held privately for the family.

Mr. Jordan was born in Wake County, NC to the late Silas Tell Jordan and Sadie Ruby Pipkin Jordan.  He was a member of First Presbyterian Church.  Mr. Jordan was a veteran of the United States Air Force.  

He is survived by his loving wife, Emma Lee Jordan; two sons, Silas Tony Jordan III and wife, Sherry of Raleigh and Michael Christopher Jordan and wife, Ellen of Goldsboro; one sister, Pamela Jordan Uzzell of Raleigh; four grandchildren, Brandi Lynn Munilla, Alexandria Nicole Jordan, Ashley Elaine Jordan and Catherine Rose Jordan and two great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Jordan was preceded in death by two brothers, George Ronald Jordan and Ted Daniel Jordan.

The Jordan family would like to say a special thank you to Kitty Askins Hospice Center and Community Home Care & Hospice especially his nurse, Julie Lee and aides, Carol Warren and Christina Hall for all the care given to their loved one during this time.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
