Senior Master Sergeant Robert Charles Lethco Sr., (RET. USAF) 82, went to be with his heavenly father, Friday, May 24, 2019 at home surrounded by his loving family.
A celebration of life service will be held Friday, May 31, 2019 at 9 a.m. at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro with the family receiving friends before and after the service. The committal will follow at Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Goldsboro with full military honors.
Mr. Lethco was born in Neva, Tennessee on October 08, 1936 to the late William Nelson Lethco Sr. and Vada Mink Lethco. He was a member of Seymour Johnson Air Force Base Chapel in Goldsboro.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 60 years, Anne Lethco; two sons, Robert Charles Lethco Jr. of Robersonville and Andrew Leslie Lethco and wife, Renee of Kathleen, Georgia; two daughters, Suzanne Lethco Vanhoozier of Goldsboro and Dianna Lethco Taylor and husband, Andrew of Goldsboro; five brothers, Bill Lethco and wife, Donna of Virginia, Bud Lethco of Virginia, David Lethco of Tennessee, Jim Lethco and wife, Ann of Faison and Ben Lethco and wife, Juanita of Virginia; four sisters, Lucy Sisco and husband, Jim of Tennessee, Betty Burris of Virginia, Dee Moody of Tennessee and Sis Lethco of Tennessee; five grandchildren, Scott Wallace, Amber Lethco, Amanda Ross, Courtney Pham and Cora Vanhoozier and six great-grandchildren, Tyler, Madison, Julie, Tiffany, Alyzabeth, Sawyer and one-on-the way, Luca. Also many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Lethco was preceded in death by his sister, Alice Bright and his son-in-law, Kenneth Vanhoozier.
The family would like to thank Kindred at Home and also Community Home Care and Hospice of Goldsboro for their amazing care.
