Rita Ann (Creech) Locklear

Rita Ann Locklear, 63, passed away Monday, December 17, 2018 at home.

A graveside service will be held Friday, December 21, 2018 at 4 p.m. at Pate Cemetery in Mount Olive.  The family will receive friends following the service.

Mrs. Locklear was born in Wayne County on September 14, 1955 to the late Edward Ivy and Lorraine Coker Creech.

She is survived by one son, Duane Locklear of Dudley; two daughters, Melissa Locklear and husband, Joshua Draughon of Dudley and Paula Locklear of Dudley; two brothers, Shelton Creech of Pikeville and Ronnie Creech and wife, Jackie of Mount Olive; eight grandchildren, Matthew, Lilly, Emily, Kaitlyn, Khole, Collin, Ethan and Ean and four great-grandchildren, Arianna, Reigna, Reminova and Ezra.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Locklear was preceded in death by a grandson, Elias.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
