Ralph H. Barfield Jr., 65, passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at his home.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery with military honors.

Ralph was born in Dunn, NC on March 24, 1952 to the late Ralph Barfield Sr. and Elma Jackson Barfield.  He was a veteran of the United States Navy.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly Gayle Blackwell Barfield; one son, Jeffrey Barfield; two brothers, Wayne T. Barfield and Glenn N. Barfield of Goldsboro and two sisters, Carol Montoya of Goldsboro and Joyce Lamm and husband, Dwayne of Fremont.

Ralph was preceded in death by a daughter, Sherry Barfield and a brother, Dwain Barfield.

The family will be receiving friends at the home of his sister, Carol Montoya, 107 Windsor Drive in Goldsboro.
