Pat Cockrell Coley, 87, of Stantonsburg went to be with her Lord and Savior Friday, December 15, 2017 at Kitty Akins Hospice Center surrounded by her loving family.

Homegoing service will be held Monday, December 18, 2017 at 6 p.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.  The family will receive friends following the service.  A graveside committal service will be held Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Eureka Cemetery.

Pat was born in Nash County on February 28, 1930 to the late Thomas Ray and Eva Batts Cockrell.  She was a floral designer having worked with Pinewood Florist and was a member of Watery Branch Free Will Baptist Church in Stantonsburg.

She is survived by two daughters, Kay Stallings and husband, Jimmy of Eureka and Patricia Coley of Raleigh; three sons, Freddie Coley and wife, Lynn of Stantonsburg, Dennis Coley and wife, Susan of  Nahunta and Durrell Coley and wife, Syble of Belfast; two sisters, Faye Tyson of Ramseur and Jerri Minshew of Jacksonville, Florida; seven grandchildren, Michelle Jarman (B.J.), Amy Lancaster (Garey), Freddie James Coley, Crystal Lancaster (David), Wendy Dinges (Vince), Brian Coley and Melissa Coley and eleven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Coley; son, Warren Coley; sister, Remetha Weaver and a brother, James Ray Cockrell.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
