Matthew Dor Heald, 37, passed away Saturday, July 13, 2019 at Wayne UNC Health Care in Goldsboro.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 20, 2019 at 5 p.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro. The family will receive friends following the service.

Matthew was born in Wake County on March 20, 1982.

He is survived by his father, Richard Dor Heald Jr. and girlfriend, Maggie Payne of Apex; his mother, Nancy Heald of Angier; two brothers, Joshua Heald and wife, Amy of Ashville, NC and T.J. Faircloth of Angier; and his niece, Juna Heald and Maddox Heald.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
