Mary Edna (Grant) Bogey

Mary Edna “Tootsie” Bogey, 81, formally of Dudley passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at Accordius Health at Wilson.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, November 21, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. at the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro. The family will receive friends following the service. A graveside service will be held Friday, November 22, 2019 at noon at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery, Spring Lake, NC.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; Horace and Edith Lee Grant, her husband; Clarence “C.A.” Bogey and one son, Clarence Bogey II.

She is survived by her daughter; Cindy Moody (Paul) of Dudley; two sons, Charles “Charlie” Bogey (Bonita) of Bailey and Horace “Peanut” Bogey (Melissa) of Nahunta; brother, Norman Grant (Betty) of Kinston; sister, Ella Campbell (John) of Dudley, eight grandchildren; one step-grandson and six great-grandchildren.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
