Marie (Campbell) Royall

Marie Royall, 97, of Goldsboro passed away Friday, October 25, 2019 at Somerset Court of Goldsboro.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.  Interment will follow at Wynn Cemetery in Mount Olive.  Visitation will be held Wednesday from 10 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Royall was born in Wayne County on February 28, 1922 to the late Clinton Kirby and Mable Hobbs Campbell.  She was a member of Saints Delight United Holiness Church were she served in many capacities including financial secretary for 28 years and an usher within the church.

She leaves to cherish her memories her daughter, Belinda Royall of Goldsboro; two sons, Ammie D. Royall and wife, Gloria of Maryland and Charles M. Royall of Maryland; one brother, Monte Campbell and wife, Doris of Maryland; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Royall was preceded in death by her husband, Ammie Royall and a daughter, Hildagarde Royall Newsome.

Although flowers are welcome, memorial contributions may be directed to the American Kidney Foundation or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
