Lena (Wood) Deans

Lena Wood Deans, 80, passed away Sunday, January 05, 2020 at the Brian Center Health & Rehabilitation in Goldsboro.

The family will receive friends Friday, January 10, 2020 from 10 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.

Mrs. Deans was born in Duplin County on December 03, 1939 to the late Harvey Lawrence and Pauline Dail Wood. 

She is survived by two daughters, Sherrie Deans of Cary and Kim Deans of Lumberton; two brothers, David Wood or Arizona and Charlie Wood of Arizona; two sisters, Edna Smith of Goldsboro and Sara Strickland of Virginia; two grandchildren, Jason Kearney and Krist Kearney Florwick and husband, Cris and four great-grandchildren, Tyler Kearney, Sarah Kearney, Emma Leduc and Olivia Florwick.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Deans was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Rabon Deans and one sister, Patsy Page.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
