My Dear Shelia,
How sorrowful I am for you. Even though we didn't see you often, I remember the baby and growing-up stories I used to hear from Mamma and Daddy about him. He was only a baby when they lived on Granddaddy's farm so she got to nourish and play with him before he could walk so their relationship was a close one. That was a pleasant and good remembrance for her to keep for her long lifetime and I am so thankful she shared it with me. We will all miss him and even though our hearts are filled with grief and tears, I fully believe what God's Word says about our days being numbered here on earth. I know as we are thinking and saying, "He's gone," there are others taking up the glad shout, "Here he comes!! I fully believe that all God's children will be reunited again to live with Him forever.
I do love you and wish you would take some time off to come to see us.
