Joyce Ann Reese, 69, of Pikeville passed away Saturday at Wayne UNC Health Care.

A private service will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Reese was born in Long Green, Maryland on June 9, 1948 to the late Andrew Curtis Howell and Edna Boyd Howell.   She was formerly employed with Wayne UNC Health Care in Goldsboro.

She is survived by her significant other, Daniel Starling; two sons, Gary McGlothlin and Keith McGlothlin and two sisters, Barbara Burall and Doris Holland.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Reese was preceded in death by a son, Scott McGlothlin.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
