Joshua "Grant" Sauls

Joshua “Grant” Sauls, 20, of Eureka departed this walk of life Saturday, December 28, 2019.

Funeral service will be held at Thursday, January 2, 2020 at 2 p.m. at Eureka United Methodist Church in Eureka.  Burial will follow at Eureka Cemetery.  The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1 until 1:45 p.m. in the church fellowship hall. 

Grant was a “people person” and loved to fish and ride ATV’s.  He was a beloved son and will be deeply missed by all his family and friends.

Grant is survived by his father, Gregory Mark Sauls and wife, Kimberly of Knightdale; his mother, Melissa Grant Yelverton and husband, Al of Eureka; paternal grandmother, Clara Tyson Sauls of Eureka; maternal grandparents, Richard Lamar Grant of Belhaven and Harriette Richardson Nack of Florence, SC, one half-brother, Gregory Ryan Sauls of Wendell; three step-brothers, Michael Forrest Southwick of Knightdale, Colton Jay Yelverton and Alton Jackson Yelverton II, both of Eureka and one step-sister, Brittany Lee Hubbell and husband, Jesse of New York.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, James Melvin Sauls.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
