Josephine Sims Obituary

Josephine Joyce Sims, 85, passed away Friday, January 03, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

A gathering for family and friends will be held Saturday, January 11, 2020 from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.

Mrs. Sims was born in West Virginia on July 28, 1934 to the late Oscar James and Milo Jack Fortney.

She is survived by her daughter, Stacy Sims Adams and husband, Horace of Fremont; her daughter-in-law, Brenda Sims of Virginia; ten grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
