Goldsboro- John “Johnny” Hill Williams Jr., 65, passed away Wednesday, January 10th, 2018 at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill with his family by his side.

A celebration of life service will be held Sunday, January 14, 2018, 3 p.m. at the House of Prayer Church located at 958 Sleepy Creek Road in Dudley.  The family will receive friends following the service.

Johnny was born in Michigan on July 08, 1952 to the late John Hill Williams Sr. and Rachel Lane Williams.  In addition to his parents, Johnny was preceded in death by his sister, Diane Williams. 

He was an avid fisherman and golfer.  Johnny was also the previous owner and operator of Northway TV & Satellite which he took over from his Father.  He loved interacting with customers, and repairing electronic equipment.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Debra Hatem Williams; two sons, Jonathan Chad & wife Hillarie T. Williams of Goldsboro; David John Williams of Goldsboro;  two sisters, Susan & husband Gary Godfrey of Reno, NV;  Cathy & husband Andy Anders of Goldsboro; & three grandchildren, Emma Kate, Liam Grant and Wyatt Cole Williams.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
