John Wayne Forbey

John Wayne Forbey, 70, of the Rosewood community passed away Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center surrounded by his loving family.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 08, 2020 from 6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro. 

Mr. Forbey was born in Missouri on April 19, 1949 to the late Willis and Margaret Forbey.  He enjoyed going to antique car shows.

He is survived by his loving wife, Joyce Forbey; two sons, Jason Forbey of New Jersey and David Forbey and wife, Brandi of Princeton; one daughter, Mary Craig and husband, Darren of Goldsboro; one brother, Mike Forbey and wife, Sue of Virginia; one sister, Margaret Ann Swinney and husband, Ed of Missouri; eight grandchildren, Madison and Jay Forbey, Lainey, Allison, Abbie and Libbie Forbey and Madalyn and Jacob Craig.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
