Horace “Tom” Thomas Troublefield, 64, passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2017 in Selma.

 

Homegoing services will be held Monday, May 22, 2017 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Howell Funeral Home in Goldsboro. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, 306 E Elm Street in Goldsboro.

 

Tom was born on January 12, 1953 to the late Neal and Naomi Dancey Troublefield.   He was employed with Puryear Trucking Company for over 30 years.

 

He leaves to cherish his memories, one son, Dana Atkins of Princeton; two daughters, Tiffany Foye-Hines and husband, Carlos of Selma and Flora Allen of Goldsboro; three brothers, Charles Troublefield of Goldsboro, James Troublefield of Mannassa, Va. and Carlton Troublefield of Goldsboro; three sisters, Maxine Rawlings of Cary, Helen Stevens of Goldsboro and Naomi McClarin and husband, Stanley of Princeton; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends.

 

In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by three brothers, Frank Troublefield, Linwood Troublefield and Neal “June” Troublefield and a sister, Belinda Allen.

 

A viewing will be Sunday, May 21, 2017 from 4 until 7 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home and Crematory with the family present from 6 until 7 p.m.  The family will receive friends other times at the home of Rhonda Allen, 242 Madison Avenue in Princeton.
