Henry Jay Games, 92, passed away Saturday, December 23, 2017 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.
Mr. Games was born in Johnston County on May 9, 1925. He was a member of the Woodman of the World and was a self-employed truck driver. He was very proud to have built the boat ramp at the Neuse River located on Stevens Mill Road.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery in Princeton. The family will receive friends following the service.
He is survived by his loving wife of over 28 years, Anne Anderson Handley Games; his daughter, Vicki Bethel and husband, Mike of Ohio; his stepson, William Handley and wife, Becky of Grimesland; two stepdaughters, Scottie Krupa and husband, Ken of Virginia and Ruth Richter and husband, Butch of Fayetteville; eleven grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Zelphia Games and his first wife, Margie Games.
Henry and his wife, Anne have been very blessed to have Annette Flowers and Ruby Fail in his life to the end.
The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
