Grover Cleveland Edwards, 65, passed away Friday, September 22, 2017 at his home.

All services will be held privately.

Mr. Edwards was born in Ashe County, NC on April 18, 1952 to Francis Stamper Edwards Lansell of Florida and the late Ernest Edwards.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Edwards is survived by his wife of almost 30 years, Gale Edwards; two step-daughters, Constance Sanders of Goldsboro and Kathryn Colmore and husband, Tim of Winterville; one step-son, Dale Herring and wife, Kim of Goldsboro; his sister, Donna Edwards of Greensboro; seven step-grandchildren and eight step-great-grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild on the way.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
