Gregory “Greg” Alan Hobbs, 57, of LaGrange went to be with Lord and Savior Tuesday, July 02, 2019 at his home.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 6, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Trinity Missionary Baptist Church in Goldsboro. Burial will follow at Walker Family Cemetery.
Mr. Hobbs was born in Georgia on December 6, 1961. He was a member of Trinity Missionary Baptist Church.
He is survived by his mother, Merle Jean Walker Hobbs of Goldsboro; his wife, Connie Weeks Hobbs; three daughters, Courtney Hobbs, Cassidy Hobbs and Connor Hobbs of the home; one brother, Randy Hobbs and wife, MaryAnn of Tennessee; two grandchildren, Blakeleigh and Weston; a special niece, Melody Hobbs Leekley of Youngsville; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Eackles and husband, Terry of Rolesville, along with nephew, Jaydon and niece, Jamie; brother-in-law, David Weeks and wife, Ashly of Benson, along with nephew, Dave and niece, Rachael; his beloved pet, Marley and a host of other relatives and friends.
Mr. Hobbs was preceded in death by his father, Cornelius Hobbs; one brother, Jeff Hobbs and two sisters, Cathy Hobbs Waters and Connie Hobbs.
The family will receive friends Friday evening, July 5, 2019 from 6 until 7:30 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro and other times at the home.
Although flowers are welcome, memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
