George Braswell Obituary

George Benton Braswell, 72, formerly of Princeton, passed away Thursday, June 27, 2019 at Elm City Assisted Living in Elm City.

A private service will be held at Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Goldsboro.

Mr. Braswell was born in Wayne County on December 06, 1946 to the late Alexander and Vilor Wilkins Braswell. He was a veteran of the United States Army and past employed with Wood Tech of Princeton, Kivetts Furniture and Sylvania.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Braswell was preceded in death by one brother, William Earl Braswell and one sister, Carolyn Faye Bass.

He is survived by two nieces, Melissa Bass Ward and husband, Chris of Selma and Amanda Faye Bryant of Smithfield and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
