Franklin R. Brewington

Franklin Renaldo Brewington, 50, departed this walk of life Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Wayne UNC Health Care in Goldsboro.

A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held Friday, August 03, 2018 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory Chapel in Goldsboro.  The family will receive friends following the service.

Mr. Brewington born in Virginia on February 28, 1968 to the late William Franklin and Dorethea Fields Brewington.  He was a veteran of the United States Navy and a member of First Congregational Church in Dudley.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Amanda Williams Brewington; two sons, Jamel Slater and wife, Hollie of Hawaii and Stephen Ray Smith and wife, Rita of Goldsboro; one daughter, Frankie Danielle Brewington of Goldsboro; two brothers, William Gregory “Greg” Brewington and wife, Madeline of Virginia and Billy Donnell Brewington of Goldsboro; two grandchildren, Anthony and William Slater and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
