Frank Peter Mitchell, 94, of Snow Hill passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at home.
Burial will be held in Beaufort National Cemetery in Beaufort, South Carolina.
Mr. Mitchell was born in New York on February 03, 1924 to the late Frank and Jennie Bougades Mitchell. He was a member of the American Legion in Charleston, S.C.
He is survived by his son, George Mitchell and wife, Mary Ann of New York; one daughter, Georgia Phillips of Snow Hill; six grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Mitchell was preceded in death by his wife, Bessie Mitchell; two brothers, George Mitchell and Michael Mitchell and his sister, Jeanne Constantine.
The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
