Frank Simmons Jordan, 96, of Goldsboro, passed away Friday, May 31, 2019 at his home.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, June 06, 2019 at 2 p.m. at Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Goldsboro with military honors. A memorial service will be held Thursday, June 06, 2019 at 6 p.m. at Family of Faith Community Church, 4784 US 70 East in Goldsboro with Pastor John Earnest officiating.
Mr. Jordan was born in Atlanta, Georgia on January 10, 1923 to the late Frank S. Jordan Sr. and Mary Ruth Goss Jordan. He was a veteran of the United States Navy having served in World War II and was an avid golfer until the age of 92.
He is survived by his wife, Toni H. Jordan; his beloved children, Dominic and wife, Sheri of Goldsboro, Nunzio and wife, Fan of Chicago, Illinois, Carol and husband, Brian of Massachusetts, Libby of Tampa, Florida, Deanna and husband, Mike of Micro, DonnaMaria and husband, Adam of Chicago, Illinois and Danielle of Virginia; his loved ten grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
