Dorothy Irene (Webb) Brown

Dorothy Irene Webb Brown, 79, of Pikeville passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.

The family will receive friends Thursday, March 15, 2018 from 4 until 5 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.

Mrs. Brown was born in Wayne County on December 20, 1938 to the late John Wesley Webb and Nora Irene Parnell Webb.  She was the wife of the late Roman Buster Brown.

She is survived by two sons, David Brown and Chris Brown; one daughter, Kim Ellis and husband, Ronnie; four brothers, Ronnie Webb and wife, Debbie, J.W. Webb and wife, Faye, Randy Webb and David Webb and wife, Louise; two sisters, Linda Faye Farmer and Mary Sue Horne and husband, Bennie Ray; three grandchildren, Paul Brown, Brooke Jones and husband, Steven and Cassie Howell and one great-granddaughter, Haley Olivia Brown.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her sister, Peggy Joy Wheeler and two brothers, Donnie Webb and John Alvin Webb.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
