Doris (Hamilton) Jacobi

Doris Hamilton Jacobi, 71, of Newport passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at Carteret Health Care in Morehead City.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 4 p.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 3 until 3:45 p.m. at the funeral home.  A private interment will be held at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in Princeton. 

Mrs. Jacobi was born in Wayne County on September 20, 1947 to the late Milton and Ada Watkins Hamilton. 

She is survived by her husband, Charles P. "Buddy" Jacobi Jr.; daughter, Terri Lynn Sutton Parsons and husband, Andrew of California; son, Gregory Scott Sutton of Missouri; her favorite pet, Kali and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
